The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I imagine you'd want some kind of JavaScript on the client that would make an AJAX requests back to the server at some interval. If the server RPGLE code is currently returning the entire page, you'd need to add an option to return something else (I'd prefer JSON, but HTML snippets might be easier).
If you want the server to push updates, well that gets more interesting...
