I voted yes.

but heck, allow users to create their own %BIF. Or enable sub procedure
arguments to have variable data types. ( Which is what I understand the
difference between a BIF and a procedure to be. The BIF will allow the
programmer to pass an INT or character string to the BIF. and the BIF code
then detects that and acts accordingly. )
