Not really. You're tricking the compiler -- not recommended for
clarity to those who come later. You should not use a prefix with a
period in it. A DCL-F without the qualified keyword will create I-specs
for the I/O area. I always use the qualified keyword on the DCL-F to
avoid creating I-specs.
