accessible to the RPG program. I could be completely wrong (it

be the first time), and either of the other techniques will work for

The actual SQL message text is not automatically available to

the RPG

program. It is in the joblog and the RPG program can use an API (
QGYOLJBL) to retrieve it from the joblog (and I have done this). But

that is

about it.
