Subject: IFS READDIR sort options
We are using Scott's IFS APIs to work with the IFS in RPG. I have an
application that loads a subfile from READDIR calls.
I am wondering if I'm missing an option to sort the results of
READDIR calls by the object's modification date (descending). Iimagine any
such option would need to occur prior to the first READDIR call, so Ilooked at
OPENDIR but there is no parameter defined to handle that.array or temp
So, I'm guessing I need to collect all of the READDIR calls into an
file and sort that before loading the subfile. But I just wanted tomake sure I
wasn't missing something simpler. FWIW, I expect that the number of(RPG400-L)
entries retrieved will always be less than 100.
