This API looks really useful for something I'm working on. Does anyone have a working RPGLE example so I don't have to reinvent the wheel?

I was going to use the readdir() and fnmatch() for wildcarding but I don't see fnmatch() in the C/C++ ILE reference.

Thanks.

qp0lreaddir is supposed to be able to do that, but I've never tried it.

Subject: IFS READDIR sort options

We are using Scott's IFS APIs to work with the IFS in RPG.  I have an
application that loads a subfile from READDIR calls.

I am wondering if I'm missing an option to sort the results of
multiple
READDIR calls by the object's modification date (descending).  I
imagine any
such option would need to occur prior to the first READDIR call, so I
looked at
OPENDIR but there is no parameter defined to handle that.

So, I'm guessing I need to collect all of the READDIR calls into an
array or temp
file and sort that before loading the subfile.  But I just wanted to
make sure I
wasn't missing something simpler.  FWIW, I expect that the number of
entries retrieved will always be less than 100.
