I have a data record defined in an RPG program. The length is unknown
to me; it is defined by reference. I wish to put that record into a
hidden field in the subfile so I can have the original data available
when needed.
What I usually do is just define an arbitrarily too-long a hidden
field. It occurs to me that there is probably a better way?
