thump... thum ... thump... password on the production box got disabled.

Pay no attention to the man (behind the curtain) banging his head on the
keyboard!!

<snip>
I have a program on our dev box that i use to refresh data occasionally.

It uses 3 part sql naming to get data from production box to development
box.

Since we are required to c/ our passwords here every couple months, i
invariably (on the dev box) end up doing a rmvsvraute on my user profile
then do an addsvraute on my profile to get the new password to take.

The box RDB names are the same as they always have been, and yet after
multiple tries (rmv/add svraute) i cannot get 3 part naming to work.

Is there some other setting somewhere else that i am unaware of?

I know our admin put on some ptf s and possibly TRs too recently.

We are at 7.2.

Thanks for any help or direction,

John
