One last question though ..

If I use the XML naming then the qualified access to the values can be quite
long ..

For example :

SWMSADVANCESHIPMENTNOTIFICATION.THISDOCUMENTGENERATIONDATETIME.DATETIMESTAMP
' '19.03.2018 08:50:55'

Is there any simple way of making these notifications available in a shorter
form without having to copy the info into a corresponding DS

with shorter names .

top.tag.name '19.03.2018 08:50:55'

May be a stupid question but I will ask anyway
