Hmm. I've been known to put in-jokes into my code. In RPG, that has taken the form of commenting a block of code with a single sentence running down the line-by-line comment column, and then finishing with "Burma Shave." Or calling a join-logical file "JADZIA" (as in Dax, as in Star Trek). Or one I picked up from a colleague who was a big "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fan, of calling a buffer "BUFFY."

But this doesn't seem to have the feel of an in-joke.
