If RPG ever does add anything like DATA-FROM, it would be basically the opposite of DATA-INTO. RPG would pass information about the data to a generator procedure or program, and that generator would handle generating XML or JSON or whatever. Options like attributePrefix=atr would be something specific to an individual generator.
