Deon,

Be sure that you don't have your compiler settings to OPTIMIZE (*FULL).
Also, the debugger's behavior is different whether you use *LIST or *SOURCE.

Hi, I'm trying to debug one of our legacy RPGLE programs though the
traditional green screen debugger.

It jumps over my breakpoint, and if I step it manually it skip into
different subroutines?!

I know I use to get this from time to time when using the debugger, if my
library list is incorrect, and I'm picking up different source to object
combination.

In this case the source and object is in sync.

It seems to be an issue with the copybooks.

If I remove the copy statements, and insert the source from the copybooks
into the code, and recompile it , I don't have the strange behaviour?
I checked that my library list is correct, and it is picking up the
correct copybooks when I compile.

Regards

Deon
