If you can't get 1000 rows efficiently using Windows programming today, you're doing something wrong.......

I've never seen a windows PC server do very well with over 1000 rows, much less a million. :) But that was back in the Cold Fusion days where I did a POC to show the "AS/400" (which it was at the time) was better suited.
Easiest POC ever. :)
