Quite regularly, I FTP my source files to my PC.
Today, I needed to recreate a program from a copy of the source I had
saved to my PC in September 2016. It is in all free (dcl-...) but I
noticed there was no **free as the first statement and it had comments
starting in column 6 prefixed as **. I sure don't recall doing that but,
to my surprise, it compiled fine.
I thought **free was required and you had to use // style commenting.
Am I missing something here?
