Did you try something like this? I think it should work and keep your
programs simple.

Step 1:
CPYFRMIMPF from IFS file to "A" file on iSeries

Step 2:
CPYF FROMFILE(A) TOFILE(B) INCCHAR(*FLD 1 *EQ '01')
CPYF FROMFILE(A) TOFILE(C) INCCHAR(*FLD 1 *EQ '02')
CPYF FROMFILE(A) TOFILE(D) INCCHAR(*FLD 1 *EQ '01')
