The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Trying to go all **free, all of the time. (Obviously, **free dictates that
we are on v7r1 and a recent TR.)
In source named TESTENTRY, I have the following:
**free
dcl-pi TESTENTRx;
Parm1 char( 1);
Parm2 char( 1);
Parm3 char( 1);
end-pi;
If Parm1 = Parm2 and Parm1 = Parm3;
endif;
dump(a);
*inLR = *on;
Originally, I named the procedure interface the same as the program object
(TESTENTRY), but then I wanted to test whether this was a requirement. Lo
and behold, the above compiles, albeit with a level 10 warning RNF3776
(External program on prototype for main procedure is not the same as
program being created.) I tested it with:
CALL TESTENTRY PARM(A B C)
and the dump shows the parameter values. Is this expected behavior?
Is each procedure (main or otherwise) allowed to define no more than one
procedure interface? I think the answer is yes, but if I'm wrong, can
someone provide an example?
