There was a second version of the Guide published - in fact it may now be the only one available.

Sadly (in my opinion) they took out a bunch of stuff instead of updating it, and put in a bunch of stuff of dubious utility.

THANK YOU for posting your / your company's standards / style guide for
service programs. While I have only done a little development of service
programs, and that was eons ago, I know enough through this list that
design considerations up front can pay dividends in the future.
