I've had that happen. Per chance you changed the source type
using Rdi or changed the source type on the i and then
saved your changes? I am almost certain <but can't guarantee>
that the source type on the i was not the same as
the Rdi copy until you saved it again. Some kind of sync issue?
Don't understand how or why.

Yes its SQLRPGLE. It's also worked as recently as an hour ago. I made
an unrelated change and got the error.
However... I noticed an odd thing I can not explain. I use RDi and the
local source and the remote source are in sync. The spoolfile is not
showing the same source. I have no explanation. I closed the source
member in RDi, reopened it, compiled again, and all was back to normal.
Something happened that I did not see/understand but all is well now.
