I think the spacing of the F-spec is mucked in your post. After adjusting
it, I think I come to the same conclusion as Bill.

Kevin, the 'K' in 31 (actually 34, for Record Address Type) is only
available for externally described files.

For whatever non-free-format code and CABxx opcodes some of my current
colleagues insist on continuing to use, I'm extremely grateful to not have
to deal with internally described files. Ugghhh.

This reads the file in arrival order, not in key sequence. What have I
missed?
