I've got a before & after version of a large data structure (195,351 bytes).
While it's easy to check if they are the same. When they are not, finding
where the difference is is troublesome.
Before I start coding my own byte level comparison that dumps out a few
characters before & after a difference...I thought I'd check to see if
anybody already had a good method.
For reference, I'm testing a modified version of a promy manual method
involved getting the RPG dump and moving the before & after DSs to two
separate text files then comparing with notepad++. That allowed me to find
two characters that where different.
