of the next transactions he tries to write back some updates to the

read data, who knows the before image? the view? the controller?, the
model?
who else? or maybe nobody?

We have a ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP in our tables and the DAO Model
uses it in the WHERE clause of the UPDATE statement. Thus, if the
timestamp has changed then the update is rejected and sent back to the
user with a message.
