when the task is approached with an alternate view of the /delimiters/.

This is why I brought up the meta-game considerations. Doing the task
as I interpreted it is either an appropriate level of challenge, or
perhaps even already too challenging. To interpret the task in a way
that you find "conspicuously more difficult" would clearly be
inappropriately challenging, especially given the likely time
constraints.

Speaking of which, I did finish coding a solution in RPG. I wasn't
carefully timing myself, but I'm sure it took me well over an hour in
total, and could easily have been longer than two hours.
