Although I did vote for that RFE when it was first created, it is
not really a good idea for external procedures because this would create
duplicate structure definitions (in PR and PI) that would have to be
maintained twice. A separate data structure that is simply referenced
(via LIKEDS) from both PR and PI is a much better solution.
