We're getting intermittent authority failures on JDBCR4 running in QZDASOINIT jobs. We use JDBCR4 extensively in 5250, batch, CGI and QZDASOINIT. The authority failures only occur in QZDASOINIT. Anyone else seen anything like this?

I got this message this morning from IBM support:
"There appears to be a PASE application involved that is trying to send a signal to another process without sufficient authority (the VLOGS indicate a user is missing *JOBCTL). However, nothing in the VLOGS provides any insight as to what PASE code is running, what signal (number) is being sent, or the target process.

PASE development suggests asking the application owner to see if they have any insight. Something in the application or its runtime is using the kill() function/syscall to send a signal to another process. This is a PASE application running in a QZDASOINIT job. Do you know what that application might be?"
