Does anyone know if there is a Compiler Directive that tests if a
specific prototype name has already been defined? I am looking for
an automated way to either include or not include a prototype
defined in program source, based on whether or not it has already
been defined in a copybook, that the program accesses via a /COPY.

An Additional note... We use the following at the beginning of all our
copybooks -- but you can do much the same thing at the individual
prototype level. For individual prototypes you would just wrap them in
the /IF directive instead of using the /EOF directive.

/if defined(UTSQLUTSV)
/eof
/endif
/define UTSQLUTSV

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
