The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

PM:
with a dynamic sql you must use Prepare and you could use Execute or
Execute Immediate.
That should read "with dynamic SQL you may use either Execute
Immediate or Prepare combined with Execute." Execute Immediate does
both
a prepare and an execute in a single call to SQL but is limited to those
SQL statements that return no data.
...and I should have added ...and have no internal parameter
markers or host variables. Meaning, if there is any variable data
required it has to be hard coded as literals or concatenated into a
statement string variable because the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE will not resolve
them for you.
Sincerely,
Dave Clark
