the issue is really that we are taking a numeric field from the screen input
and need to chain with an alpha field. we can't just trim leading zeros
because some batch numbers have one or more leading zeros.

I think I have to make arrays that will pass only the non blanks to the
alpha field to chain unless there is some simpler method.

You may need to use evalr to right adjust? And you may need to use an 'X'
edit code if you need leading zeros.

Hi I am trying to 'piggyback' in a program. The current program
allows the user to unlock a record in 2 different files.
We have now a third as well. But the key to the third file is 10pos alpha
but looking at this, it's an order number.
