I would define my sql statement in one string str1 at least up to the where clause where I guest everything is the same for the 6 views, add one more string str2 and change it accordingly for each where clause, then concatenate both string before declare cursor and prepare my cursor from the final string str3=str1+str2. I dont know if needed but you could even use parameters marker like for example:  where fld1=?

A large file, with 6 views over the file. The requirement is to use SQL
to get the same data, grouped and ordered in the same way, from the file
excepting with a different Where clause. Moving the Where clause from
the Declare Cursor to the Fetch Cursor would reduce a lot of redundant
code. Is there a way to do that or similar?
