The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Birgitta tantalized me a bit ago. SQL does so much so well.
So far I have not found a way to set the output format for a date.
Formatting is not the prime focus of SQL. You can do it in SQL if you
really want to, but it's a lot easier in RPG. Once you've done the
FETCH into an RPG variable, format /that/ the way you'd prefer to see
it.
If someone held a lightsabre to my head and forced me to use SQL, I'd
write a UDF. This being the RPG list, I'd probably use
LANGUAGE(RPGLE)
