Interesting, sometimes (but not always) useful side effect: the API
returns absolute path names to relative input.

Assuming my user profile is JJB and I have a home directory '/home/jjb'
that contains a file 'README.txt':
- 'readme.txt' returns '/home/jjb/README.txt'
- '/home/jjb/..' returns '/home'

RE: Exact Name of File in Root-Part of IFS

Thank you, Carsten, that works.

Strange: if I retrieve the file_id with Qp0lGetAttr I recognize the
values
from st_ino_genid and st_ino in bytes 9-16, but the first 8 bytes
contain
x'0000000000000001' instead of all zeroes. But both values seem to work
for Qp0lGetPathFromFileId.
