We've had this problem before. The printer doesn't have enough local memory to handle the pages coming down from the iSeries.

Subject: Has anyone had this problem with Overlay's attached to OVRPRTF

This is a check print with an signature overlay attached to the OVRPRTF in the CL.

When he release the spool file and take the change of forms option, it will sit at the WTR status on outq and then finally start printing to the printer. He also stated that it does this between each check page to print.

Barb:

When we cut checks, the check register and copy of the checks come out fine, but the actual check takes anywhere from 30 seconds to one minute for each check. This has happened since we sent the system to your location. We have not said anything about it until now because we were only cutting a few checks at a time, but we may be cutting big batches of checks within the next few weeks and this would take all day to cut each batch of checks. Is there anything you can do to help?

Thank you for any help you can give us
Paul

P.S. I will be leaving the office today at 2:30 EST
