As I mentioned earlier, I converted the UTPARSER to a service program,
created the binding directory, added the BNDDIR reference in the H spec,
compiled the program that uses it, and it's gold.

Will discuss with my supervisor on Monday. I think the service program
will find use elsewhere in our applications.

Thanks, everyone, for your help! I learned a lot today!

Have a great weekend,

So, I created two modules, then used CRTPGM.

Without seeing code I'm drawing a blank as to what might be happening.

I guess the resolution is becoming more and more apparent. I'm trying to
get this working before EOD in a few hours, so, service program it is.

You don't need a service program. Put the PI code for the procedure
in the same source member as PGMA, put an H-spec DFTACTGRP(*NO)
ACTGRP('something you like here I use QILE') and compile it with
CRTBNDRPG.
