As the article implies, every company has web pages for at least advertising and marketing purposes (even www.bvstools.com ) :). For most companies a web presence is a must.

And every company needs income. Those ads can be very enticing for a business; some might say addicting.

What I found most interesting was the concept of ad revenue eclipsing product revenue.

This has to do more with "blogs" and news sources that need to advertise than functional "replacing/working with" green screen applications that do "real work". At least that's what I got from it.

Most of the applications discussed here are business apps, not billboards, blogs or news.

But, I do agree with the sentiment. :) Ads and adblockers are racing technology like police and radar detectors/blockers.
