From what is shown [apparently without the EXEC SQL execute for the dynamic SQL in RPG], the code seems possibly to fail to check the sqlstate and\or sqlcode after each statement. Perhaps the second invocation fails; the sqlcode should be negative and likely the joblog logs error(s).
