Well...here's an interesting issue. I'm receiving back XYZ coordinates for
a signature from a signature capture device. I need to get that signature
into AFP page segment format. I've used IBM's tiff2afp.exe program for many
years to do this type of thing. Two issues with that approach now - I have
XYZ rather than .TIFF, and I need to run this code on an i rather than a
Windows PC.
1. How can I transform the XYZ coordinates into something more usable, like
.TIFF or .GIF or .JPEG?
2. How can I transform an image to an AFP page segment without using a PC?
3. Do I need to transform to a page segment? Can I print an image on an AFP
overlay? Does that require a licensed program product?
