The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Alternately, you can reassign Open an IBM i member in editor to
Ctrl-O. Preferences > General > Keys. Type 'open' in the filter box
(no quotes). Click Open IBM i member in editor and change the key
binding by erasing the existing binding and holding Ctrl while
pressing O. Click OK and you've reassigned the key.
I didn't find an old email in my saved folders to explain that (probably since I'd kept the same workspace for so many years and didn't have to rebuild my preferences.) I did eventually find that key binding, though. It didn't come up in my first search for some reason. I left the original and made a copy to Ctrl-O. It still boggles my mind that they didn't bind that in the first place. I'd say it's "standard Windows UI" but the Linux programs I use normally support Ctrl-O to open as well.
Just to pretend I'm on topic for this list, it would be like someone having an RPG program use F1 to exit, F2 for Help, F3 to prompt, F4 to refresh, etc. Use the standards, and people can use the software without even trying to figure it out.
