OK, fair enough. But the landscape has changed a lot since then.
Machines are more powerful (one of the things I kept hearing is that a
significant percentage of the folks who did give WDSC a try found it a
dog on their hardware; and this corroborates my own experience with
Eclipse in that era). The software itself is better (both Eclipse in
its own right and the IBM-specific extensions). SEU no longer
supports the full RPG syntax. There are so many reasons it would go
better today.

I'll stop myself there before I get into full-on rant mode.
