Journaling. Sorry I did not think of that as I am a novice at it.--
I created a receiver, journal and started journaling.
How do I see the entries?

Jerry, couldn't you use journaling. If you journaled the file and
specified OMTJRNE(*NONE) this should tell you which programs are
accessing the file.

Hi All,is a file that is still being accessed that shouldn't.
I migrated a vendor package to a new version.
When I check the file usage in the old version (Different library)
there
Crystal Reports and MS SQL code.
There are multiple ways files are accessed including Stored
procedures,
will know about it? The file is NOT being updated, just read.
Is there a way to put a trigger on the file so when it is accessed I
up. Just wondering if there is a trigger option.
I can rename/delete the file and HOPEFULLY the offending code will
blow
specifications without notice.
Thanks!!
