Just open a cursor and don't close it in your SP.

Any opened cursors when the SP ends are returned.

create procedure myproc
language SQL
dynamic result set 1
begin
declare c1 cursor with return for
select * from sysibm.sysdummy1;

open c1;
end;

Howdy,

We have a system here that uses MS SQL Server.

I have created several Stored Procedures that they call using parameters.
Example of they send me Customer Number and I return Customer Name.
Works great.

I want to start using stored procedures to return data sets that may be
created using SQL or put together by a program.

Does anyone have good examples of how to do that or docs that can explain
how to do it?

Thanks!!!!
