When we started using COMPILE, I set up a "CO" PDM option for the SEU hold outs here.

When I worked for a place with a... more complex environment, I used Alan's COMPILE as well. It's very nice; Nicer than Make in my opinion.
With respect to PDM options, you use substitution parameters like so:
CS SRVPGM(&O/&N) MODULE(&N) When you type CS on the PDM line, PDM substitutes the object library for &O and so on. If you're unfamiliar with PDM substitution parameters, STRPDM and press F16 to see what comes with PDM.
