Re: HSSF Indirect

I appreciate the advice. We do use RPG excel for a lot of
reports. Thanks very much Scott! Probably close to a hundred reports. But

with all the reports it's typically a list with some sort
of summary at the bottom. What's being demanded now
is the summary, which we can do but also the supported
detail shown on individual tabs with formulas on the summary.
And understand, I run the report and then enter the formula by hand
to get the results after its creation right now. Not an acceptable result

for an ongoing application to need continued programming support.

So here's what I'm doing.
The first sheet has an employee number in the first
column. That column relates to separate sheets designated as
the employee number and its related amounts.
In total there are about 20 sheets of four columns that summarize to
the top sheet by employee #. The top sheet shows averages of various
amounts pertaining to what activity was done for the year.
POI shows that they have INDIRECT but I was hoping for an example
if someone else has already done that. Otherwise I'm prepared to spend
countless hours trying to figure it out. If it's even possible with
Scott's
HSSF.
