I've got an SQLRPGLE program that I just added an f-spec that uses the
EXTDESC keyword.
FCHK_ITEM IF A E K DISK extdesc(IORITEMM)
F extfile(IORITEMM)
F rename(IORITEM1:CHK_ITEMR)
F prefix('CHK.')
When I compile, I get a
SQL1001 - External file definition for CHK_ITEM not found.
Does the SQL precompiler not support EXTDESC?
As I read this,

The pre-compiler was enhanced at 6.1.
We are running 7.1 TR 6 (or so)
Am I missing a PTF?
