Eh, I was a little off. Its the HSSFRow.createCell(short) that changed to
a full integer. We're not using the createcell(short, int) function.

I think I found what was probably the issue. Somewhere along the way,
Apache POI deprecated HSSFCell createcell(short , int).
You're supposed to now use HSSFCell createcell(int, int). Existing
programs immediately begin blowing up on the new java API's.

We're using the Apache POI 3.6 java tools to generate and manipulate MS
Excel spreadsheets. I recall that v3.8 of the POI tools was flawed somehow
for our uses. I even marked the downloaded .zip file as flawed. But, I
can't recall or find my documentation as to what the issue was. I see that
the current release is a 3.10.1. Does anyone have any experience or
knowledge about using what Scott Klement designed for POI 3.6 as a service
program, with the newest version of the POI tool at 3.10.1?
Or, maybe you recall if you had an issue with 3.8, and what that was, so
that I can test to see if its now resolved.
Thank you.
