Yes - use a group filed array - not a DS array.

I’ve lost your original email so I can’t do the exact code for you but …

dcl-ds MyDS;
Group Dim(99);
Fld1 char(4) Overlay(Group);
Fld2 char(20) Overlay(Group: *Next);
end-ds;

index - %LookUp( searchText: Fld2); // This should do it.

You’ll have to translate back to fixed form for V6 but I was in a hurry so please excuse.
