ASNA's Visual RPG is a cross between RPG Free and .Net.

You can work with .Net objects yet read iSeries DB files and use RPG Free opt codes. I know I've converted a few RPG programs to Free then ported them into Asna's AVR with a few minor tweaks, but I couldn't give you a % as to how close it is to Free.

We use it mainly to create methods that a .Net program can call to get data off our iSeries or to create migration programs to migrate date to the .Net and SQL world.

I'd be happy to answer any questions off line if you have any.

I don't think you'll find an ILE RPG compiler for any other platforms.
Someone will probably mention a product from ASNA. But I don't think you'll find any compiler that is even 70% cross-platform compatible with ILE RPG.
