We have a calculation that occurs at runtime for each request from our subscriber website.
The calculation performs an algorithm based on 300 values which are each the result of an SQL statement joining several files in a specific manner.
Each of the 300 iterations of the loop retrieves a different SQL statement from a file and does an execute immediate.
But the job shows that there remain 300 separate files open for each file used in the SQL join.

Is there an easy way to avoid this?

Peter
