- My question: Is it possible execution plans for the sql using COUNT don't get saved ?
that would not declare the runtime diffrence of 2 seconds

I wouldn't rely on Visual explain, it uses a diffrent runtime environment. I prefere database monitor or the debug messages in the joblog. An index over delivery should be best.
