That would explain why it doesn't fail immediately, when it fails, but I'm told that it fails for one user in particular (and given what you just said, it may be doing so consistently for that user). And it works fine for everybody else.

Could it somehow be that the file (or the member) isn't being created in QTEMP, even though the user's joblog says it is?
