What seems most conspicuously to have been missed, is that this forum
is for topics related to the RPG language, yet the subject topic has
nothing to do with RPG.
P.S. When re-posting on a more appropriate forum, e.g. to the
midrange-l, include the spooled joblog with both of the LOGCLPGM(*YES)
and LOG(4 0 *SECLVL) in effect, so the resolved values for the CL
variables will appear along with all messaging. Also, FWiW, the
fixed-format output for CPYTOIMPF [database export] feature could, in no
way I can imagine, be considered valid XLS format. As well, the export
request fails to specify the CCSID or Code Page for the target document,
and by default will add data instead of replacing the data in the target
file.
