From a file. I'm aware of the limit on variables.
I've only just been given assigned the task so I only know that the--
developer thinks the problem is the size limit.
I just want to know what the prescribed limit is at V6R1 before proceeding.

Are you loading the entire stream into a variable in your program, or
reading the stream in chunks? There's a lot that could be going wrong...
Anything in your joblog?

Can you reveal what release you are running? Field size limits have
changed in recent releases...

Subject: XML-INTO file size limit
Anyone know the maximum size of an xml file that can be parsed using
XML-INTO (using %Handler of course)?
We have a 1.2GB file that appears to work only if we split it in half.
