Dieter and Henrik,

Why do you keep on throwing mud at each other? I think you’ve made your points - "Anyone who doesn’t use commitment control is a wimp” agains "Anyone who does not program for Web 2.0 is a sissy” - now. Makes me almost ashamed to be European; most intelligent contributions appear to be coming from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

This discussion was about databases, especeally transactions and
commitment controll and I don't see any relation to web development or my
webpage. If you have problems to ensure transaction safety with your web
development, you are maybe using the wrong tools - I'm not an expert with
CGI, but I have some experience with JSPs and for sure with programming
multithreaded applications. You might have superior knowlege, compared to
me with CGI or whatever, but I'm rather happy with the things I'm doing and
not interested in your special interests.
